Education Meets Service

Michele started as a Nutritionist, obtaining a degree in dietetics over 25 years ago. After several years doing that, she felt the drive to do more for her clients, so she went on to pursue a degree as a Registered Nurse. In 2012 she started her own nurse coaching business helping women heal. Later in life, she went back for her Family Nurse Practitioner at D’Youville University, earning her Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020.

This was the final step necessary to avoid limitations on providing her clients with the most complete care possible. Michele wants to be part of the solution, not part of the current problem with healthcare in the US.

Michele has a Bachelors degree in Nursing from Daemen University and a Masters degree from D’Youville University. She has graduate studies in nutrition and functional medicine at the University of Western States in Portland, OR.

She holds certification in Integrative Nutrition from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and is a certified NYS Diabetes Lifestyle coach. She’s also a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine.

Finding a Different Path to Wellness

While working within dietetics, Michele felt a desire for a more hands-on approach to better manage her patients’ care. Most of her nursing career has been in labor and delivery, mother/baby, and infertility, so she has 12-14 years of experience in women’s health. She has had extensive nursing education, enabling her to empower patients and their families.

Remember, it was her own health story that led her to the integrative holistic path. Michele drew the line, deciding to take the initiative for her own health to heal, and that’s when she started on the path to helping others heal with functional medicine.
